Let a long-tail boat take you to the small coral island that lies just outside Mae Phim where you can enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving and you probably find some sea turtles. It takes about 45 minutes from Mae Phim to Samet Island where you can go by car, ferry or speedboat. You can easily find a powder white sand beach that stretches along the coastline with some small cliffs. In the evening, there are many restaurants along the beach where you can enjoy your fresh grilled seafood or the authentic Thai food, etc.
From Mae Phim, it takes one and a half hour by car to go to
Trad and go further by ferry to Koh Chang, which is Thailand's second largest
island after Phuket. On the way there you can make a side trip to Haad Laem Sing
and watch the dolphin show at "Oasis Sea World".
You don't need to be a member of any golf club to be able to play. In Rayong, there are many popular golf courses and the climate is very good so you can enjoy playing golf all year round.
